Quality vs. Quantity
Since the downturn in the economy in 2007-2008, SPCS (like many other construction companies) has been hoping for the day when the market would turn and we could again see growth opportunities.
While the recent storms are not what anyone would hope for, SPCS has been pleased to be able to provide the level of assistance our customers have come to expect from us in the event of an emergency. In addition to the storm damages we are working through, the economy appears to have turned the corner, delivering additional opportunities we have been hoping for.
For SPCS, providing quality services has never been a question of quality versus quantity. Right now we are getting a lot of opportunities so we need qualified carpenters. The problem is there is a dearth of good carpenters available.
When your company is known for ensuring “reliability, communication & professionalism,” not just any carpenter or construction services provider is going to be good enough to join our team.
Since our founding in 1993, SPCS has focused on ensuring we protect not just our reputation, but yours as well. While SPCS continues to interview candidates, we have made the commitment to you, our customer, that growth at the expense of quality is unacceptable and inconsistent with the standards we have built over the past 20 years.
We understand the importance of a timely response to your construction services needs and will continue to do all we can to address your concerns at the earliest opportunity. If special circumstances arise, please let us know and we will do all we can to schedule accordingly. We appreciate your understanding and patience as well as your continued support over the past 20 years and will continue to do all we can to provide the highest quality services at the earliest opportunity.
